Blackpool Supporters’ Trust honorary vice-president Tim Fielding addressed the latest Blackpool Business Leadership Group meeting at the De Vere Hotel (Herons Reach) this morning.
Tim talked about the important cultural history of Blackpool Football Club, the imminent change of ownership and the importance of the club to the town and the local community.
Tim was joined at the podium by Rob Heys (Commercial Director, Blackpool FC) and David Paton (Consultant) who explained how the club is now keener than ever to engage with the local community and its businesses.
The team was supported by Ben Hatton (CEO, Blackpool FC) and Ashley Hackett (CEO BFC Community Trust).
A short and entertaining Q&A session then took place. The response from what was largely a group of business people was very positive indeed. It’s so pleasing to see all parts of the community rallying behind the rebirth of our club.
